I recentry bought used EOS7e and canonEF 35-80mm ultrasonic from different auction. Here is the problem. WhenI puton AFmode on lens, It doesn’t autofocus and camera won’t take picture. When I put on MF mode on lens, it takes picture without ,off course,focusing.

If your other lenses auto-focus, then it is the lens, if not it is probably the camera. Someone sold you their bad camera/lens. pcblast
